International Gastronomy Tourism Lab
Designing Gastronomy Tourism Experiences
25–31 October 2026
Limited to 20 Participants Worldwide
An international field-based learning experience where gastronomy, culture, sustainability, tourism, and local identity come together in a living laboratory of ideas, creativity, and destination immersion.
Hosted on the island of Kos, the 1st International Gastronomy Tourism Lab brings together participants from different countries and professional backgrounds to explore how meaningful gastronomy tourism experiences can be designed, developed, and delivered in practice.
Taking place at the end of the tourism season, the Lab provides a unique opportunity for reflection, professional development, knowledge exchange, and future planning. Away from the pressures of daily operations, participants can immerse themselves in learning, networking, and the co-creation of ideas that can inspire future tourism and destination initiatives.
From inspiration to implementation.
The Lab combines academic knowledge, field immersion, mentoring and collaborative design to transform ideas into practical concepts for gastronomy tourism destinations.
