Lab cancellation: All programme fees paid will be fully refunded. Airfares and other personal expenses are not included in the refund.

What language is the Lab conducted in?
The Lab is conducted entirely in English.
Is accommodation included in the fee?

Do I need a background in gastronomy tourism?
A specific background in gastronomy tourism is not required. However, applicants should demonstrate professional or academic relevance to tourism, hospitality, gastronomy, agri-food, sustainability, destination development, entrepreneurship, or related fields. Applications are reviewed to ensure that participants can actively contribute to and benefit from the Lab experience.
Where will lunches and networking activities take place?
Daily lunches will take place at a selected central restaurant in Kos, inspired by Mediterranean gastronomy and local culinary culture. The official networking dinner will be hosted with the support of the Region of South Aegean.
How much time is dedicated to field experiences?
Field experiences are an integral part of the Lab. Most afternoons include approximately two hours of destination immersion activities, site visits, and interactions with businesses, producers, and local stakeholders.
Who is responsible for travel arrangements?
Participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel to and from Kos, including flights, visas (if required), travel insurance, and any other personal travel-related expenses.
